How to use HT2 textile glue?

• The tube should be held at an angle during application.
  
• On thin fabrics or wool, a thin line should be applied.
• On thick and resistant fabrics, we can apply thick lines of product.
  
• Do not use on acetate-type linings; if in doubt, test on a separate piece.
  
• Do not rub Gütermann HT2 or let it penetrate the fabric fibers.
• It is recommended to pre-wash fabrics or textiles to be glued with Gütermann HT 2.
• Washable up to 40°C and dry-cleaning resistant.

Normal gluing

This is the fastest way to use it and requires no ironing. Apply a line of glue to the desired spot, wait 2 minutes, and press with moderate force.

Gluing with heat

This technique is recommended for thin or absorbent fabrics. Follow the same application procedure, wait 7 minutes, and join the fabric by ironing for 10 to 15 seconds.

How to undo or remove the glue?

In case of an error, proceed as follows:

• To undo a seam: Run the iron over it and separate immediately.
• To redo or modify a seam: Separate the seam with the iron, fix the new seam, and iron again. In most cases, the glue is still usable, and another application is not necessary.
• To remove textile glue: To remove Gütermann HT2 textile glue, it is recommended to use acetone. But BE CAREFUL! Perform a test beforehand to check for color fastness.

Precautions to take with Gutermann HT2 glue

This product is highly flammable and irritating. Avoid using it in poorly ventilated areas.
