PILOT FRIXION PEN (DISAPPEARS WITH IRONING)

This pen, used for marking fabric, allows for very fine and precise lines that are easily visible. 0.7mm line. It disappears immediately with gentle ironing or by applying heat. Ideal for drawing delicate patterns for embroidery, taking measurements on patterns, etc.

It can also be used to write on paper like a normal pen; in that case, it can be erased using the small eraser at the top.

Features of the erasable sewing pen.

The ink reacts to intense heat, around 65ºC, at which point the pigment that gives the ink its color disappears, and it becomes transparent. It is possible that the original color pigment can be restored by subjecting it to temperatures below -15ºC.

You can write, erase, and rewrite as many times as needed.

Precautions for the Frixion erasable marker.

ATTENTION: The marks disappear with ironing, but they are not completely erased; they can reappear under certain circumstances, mainly at low temperatures (e.g., by putting it in the freezer), although they disappear again if ironed. It is also not recommended to use it on curtains, lampshades, or anything else that will be seen against the light if it is not going to be embroidered over or covered in another way, as under these circumstances, a faint trace of the mark might be visible.
