What can I knit with Mondial Basic Cotton?
You can knit everything from adult or children's projects like sweaters, shawls, cardigans, or dresses, to original accessories like bags, purses, cushion covers, and many other crafts.
It's also the ideal cotton for amigurumi.

What should I know about Mondial Basic Cotton?
- 100% Cotton composition.
- Weight 50 grams.
- Length 110 meters.
- Recommended for 3.5 - 4 mm knitting needles or a 3.5-4 crochet hook.
- To make a 10 x 10 cm swatch, you should cast on 20 stitches and work 26 rows.
- Machine washable at a maximum temperature of 40ºC.
- Can be ironed at medium temperature.
- Cannot be tumble dried. Lay flat to dry.
How many balls of BASIC COTTON might I need?
- To knit an adult sweater in size 48, you will need 11 or 12 balls.
- For an adult size 42, you will need 8 or 9.
- To make a child's sweater in size 10, 5 or 6 balls are needed.
