Alexandria by Katia is a combed, gassed, and mercerized cotton yarn, a high-quality perlé with a very soft sheen that you will love.

The treatments this cotton undergoes result in an exceptional finish, perfectly polished, uniform, and with a very subtle sheen.

Combing Alexandria removes potential impurities, leaving clean fibers. Only gassing and mercerization remain to obtain a uniform yarn, without lint on the fiber, ensuring no pilling with use.

• Its thickness is suitable for knitting with 2.5 mm knitting needles or 1.75 to 2 mm crochet hooks.
